The Immigrant Investor Programme (the IIP) was introduced by the Irish Government in 2012 to encourage high net worth individuals to make an investment in Ireland and acquire a permanent residency or Irish citizenship in Ireland.
Options for Irish Investor Visa
- Enterprise Investment: A minimum of €1 million invested in an Irish enterprise for a period of at least three years
- Investment Fund: A minimum of €1 million invested in an approved investment fund for a period of at least three years. Such funds must be approved and regulated by the Central Bank
- Real Estate Investment Trusts: A minimum investment of €2 million in any Irish REIT that is listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, for a period of at least three years
- Endowment: A minimum €500,000 (or €400,000 where 5 or more applications are received) philanthropic donation to a project which is of public benefit to the arts, sports, health, culture or education in Ireland.

- You have a minimum net worth of €2 million
- You have a good character
- You have not been convicted of a criminal offence in any jurisdiction
- You have an interest in investing in one of the four eligible investment options mentioned above.

- A completed application form outlining the investment opportunity you wish to make
- Supporting documentation as listed in the guidelines including evidence of your net worth, details of the source of your wealth and evidence of your good character
- Business plan and executive summary for your chosen investment option.
- Submit the above documents to Department of Justice
How much does it cost to apply for Irish Investor visa ?
The application fee is €1,500, you must pay by electronic fund transfer. This fee is non-refundable. Applications will not be processed until the fee has been paid in full.
Can my family member to apply for Irish Investor Visa?
Yes, you can bring your spouse/partner and Children under 18 years old or children over 18 under 24 years old if they are unmarried, in full time education and financially fully depending on you.
